Menstruation can be really stressful on our bodies. There were times I actually had to leave school because my period cramps got super bad. And sometimes I'd bleed through my pants, it was pretty humiliating. It's hard for us women to control it, and when we can control it, it either requires a depo shot or a spay procedure, which both can cause a lot of discomfort. I'm actually on the depo too. Being able to have a break to clean ourselves up without penalty is relief.

Women and Men should be treated équaly, So instead of paid leave from work during their menstruations, both men and women should be alocated like 12 or 15 or 20 day of sick paid leave per years and then we should manage this paid leave the way we want, without any justification needed If i'm not using them, then it's a bonus cash paid at the end of the year As simple as that

It's hard to say given I am not a woman and don't have the personal experience. I would say generally speaking yes given that for some women it could be beneficial, and you would rather run the risk that maybe some women may not need it but are benefitting from it, and the rest need it and are benefitting from it, than the contrary.

Saying this as a girl i don't think it should be done, yeah it's stressful and so on but you only need to miss work for the first two days the rest of the days pain are barerable and it's not the workplace fault we menstruate

Every sick person should get paid sick leave of 10 to 30 days annually or more according to organizational policy and conditions that they can only use in case of any kind of medical emergency including gender specific conditions like menstruation but they should also specify how is it impacting their work and every organisation (atleast with more than 50 employees) should have a social person with whom they can comfortably contact for discussing leaves which is only possible if they ( he/she, contacted person) is of the same gender as sick, is friendly & have the knowledge of the medicine.

Considering that we are striving for equality, every worker, regardless of gender should have the same benefits. Why would someone who works less be basically paid more? This would just be preferential treatment. There is not much to say about this. If we strive for equality of gender this should not even be considered. If we strive for equity then sure, anyone can define what "fair" should be.

Periods aren’t just inconvenient they can be painful exhausting and debilitating. Expecting women to perform at full capacity during cramps migraines or heavy bleeding is unrealistic and unfair and paid leave acknowledges biological reality instead of forcing people to suffer silently or fake productivity. Some may argue it’s special treatment but honestly it’s really just equity men don’t deal with monthly physical strain so equal treatment means recognizing that difference. Women should receive paid leave from work because during initial days of menstruation there can ba a lot of discomfort for some women. I have seen a lot of women around me who are not even able to do mundane task. Menstruation comes with mood swings, emotional changes and sometimes it becomes a lot to process what one is going through giving paid leave help women refresh themselves.
