Illegals shouldn’t be treated like normal citizens. Having some rights as a person doesn’t put you on the same level as someone here legally. Letting illegal entry be the same as citizenship would destroy the traditional meaning and purpose of citizenship. Families being “ripped apart” doesn’t change the fact that the law was broken, and shouldn’t be ignored. You liberals argue that they should be allowed to stay because of long waits. But those waits aren’t a free pass to break a country's rules. This is how it's been done for centuries, and there is zero reason for any change.
