I'd say yes. There are multiple ways to recycle and reuse things these days, we can package a majority of foods in paper and cardboard. I've even seen meat wrapped in paper at local butchers. We have reusable drink bottles, coca cola even used to use glass since it could be reused. Plus not to mention how dangerous and toxic plastic is to animals and people, both land and marine animals have suffered being choked to death by plastic.

I'm honestly surprised they haven't been banned already. In fact single use plastics are a symbol of laziness. Look at coca cola for example. They actually used to use and recycle glass bottles. Now they've switched to plastic because it's more "convenient".

Single-use plastic should definitely be banned. As stated in the argument before me, there are many ways to avoid the use of plastic that work so there is no need to keep using it. Single-use plastic often ends up in landfills after being disposed. Here it can last for hundreds of years. This leads to the release of harsh chemicals into the soil and water which contributes to pollution and the endangerment of wildlife.

Like how sea turtles often mistake plastic bags for jelly fish, albatross end up scooping up cigarette butts and bottle caps instead of squid. I have a different point of view ,the invasion of plastics was useful but it's now time to shift to another reusable products .before banning plastics governments should have something far much better to replace them ,they could be recycled or reused but we are not addressing the biggest problem the cause to the environment ,we are not attending to the Nature call to stop using them for being not biodegradable and i think we should have a better version of answers as we are addressing plastics
