Should Christian Right Wingers be Pro-Israel?

Question

The Bible speaks of Israel being holy land and many Christian Right Wingers say it must be protected so they are pro-israel. But, some Christians say the chosen people are no longer the nation of Israel, but are now the church. What do you think?

Personally, as an American right wing Christian, I am not pro- Israel because I think scripture clearly tells us that Israel is no longer the chosen people. Matthew 21,43:"Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruit.". This is spoken clearly in my NIV translation of the holy Bible and I do not believe Israel is currently producing the fruit of the Kingdom of God. Luke 20,9-19: Jesus tells a story about a landowner (God) who sends his son (Jesus) to collect fruit from their land (Israel) but he is killed by the farmers (The pharisees or people of Israel?).

Christians do not have to support Israel. The promise in Genesis 17 was a spiritual covenant that is now continued through Christ. Colossians clearly states that baptism replaces circumcision, so we are no members of the same Covenant Abraham was in. Furthermore, in Galatians 3-4, it makes a clear distinction that Christians are the sons ofAbrahamm and that Jerusalem is no longer a physical place with physical people but a heavenly place with heavenly people. God is unchanging; if the Covenant was spiritual now than it was before. Also, I'd like to debate this person on Judaism who replied in support of Judaism.

I think the whole world should support Israel because those that bless Israel will be blessed themselves. How can you take the statement that G-d no longer chooses the Jewish people from a book that's sole purpose is to undermine the first book, the Torah? G-d doesn't make mistakes or take back his word, He is too perfect for that. The Jews also didn't go through thousands of years of persecution and seclusion to in the end be denied of even being Jewish! Yeah, for thousands of years we got killed for being Jewish and now the world wants to claim we are not the "real Jews."

Personally I don't think you should get into this but if you do I think you should research this topic and I do think that you being religious should have an effect on the outcome and I think you should look at two different people who share your religion that have different opinions and see which one resonates with you now being pro Israel is not connected to being a Christian it's connected to what you've been exposed to more for example there is Nick Fuentes and Hassan Parker and then there is Ben Shapiro Alexander kisin or nick matau and at the end I think it is completely dependent on the person and how they view their religion
