I very much agree with the first argument, my mother's ex boyfriend was addicted to drugs and alcohol, he was a living nightmare for both of us. What alcohol does is it intensifies the main personality of someone, so someone that's angry and drinks will become more angry. Same thing for someone that's a sad person, those intense emotions are too much and can chase away a lot of people. Plus as mentioned, alcohol can kill someone fast by liver and brain damage.

It isnt really about should alchohol be banned, but how would it be banned. This has already been propsed back in prohabition era and guess what the people did when this law was put in place. They stopped drinking alchohol and everyone lived a happy life. HAHa nope they made moonshine. Alchohol isnt the problem, a casual drink with friends in a safe environment is all well and good. Instead of banning alchohol we should be looking into proper education systems to help people dealing with problem

If alcohol were to become illegal, society would first have to decide it's no longer valuable. Alcohol has no medicinal value, and it could be replaced by less harmful substances. If society were to lose alcohol, it could still have fun activities to do and be able to distinguish adulthood from childhood in those activities. Society might be better off without it.

Stopping it would increase it's misuse and creation of black market .Concerned agencies should just emphasize on the rules of sale not to people below the under age ,the second unit of rule should be put in place on the time, quantity one consumes ,and the quality of alcohol in the market .either you can restrict the percentage of alcohol in every drink and put it a minimum 3% than stopping it .it's very hard to tame the already used up community but rotate around the drink and the rules .

Growing up, I've dealt with many people in my life who have sadly given away their lives to alcohol. Alcohol shouldn't be banned for all; it should be banned from the people who can't handle it responsibly. Many use it to hang out and have a good time with their friends. There's no harm unless someone becomes too addicted. If we ban alcohol, many law-abiding citizens would just resort to becoming criminals overnight, hospitals would be overwhelmed, and there would be an increase in organized crime.
